Presented is a fabulous 18 karat gold and diamond snake pendant on a 14 karat gold chain. This is a modern piece, made in Italy. The focal point of the necklace is a stylized snake, set with 43 modern brilliant cut diamonds. These are vibrant, dazzling stones of VS clarity and G color, totaling at least half a carat in diamond weight, maybe as much as 75 points (three-quarters of a carat). The snake also has little rubies for eyes. The snake is attached to a 14 karat
gold chain at either end. The chain has a springring style clasp.
This piece is in great condition. The diamonds are securely set. The chain is in great shape, with no kinks or damages. The clasp functions well and closes securely. The chain is stamped 14k and Italy on the link opposite the clasp. The clasp is also stamped 14k. The snake itself is stamped 18k on the tail, nitric acid tested and guaranteed. The necklace is about 21 inches long.
