Presented is a wonderful quality and very attractive sterling silver fish server or large food server. This piece was made by Old Newberry Crafters and retailed by Cartier in New York City. The entire piece is completely hand hammered. This pieces quite heavy and solidly made. This piece has a monogram, T, on the front as can be seen in the photographs. The pattern is either Windsor or Wilton.
This piece is fully hallmarked on the reverse with of the letters ONC for Old Newbury Crafters, Sterling, Hand Wrought, the retailers mark for Cartier and the individual craftsman's hallmark. In this case for Robert Lapham, who was a master silversmith who worked for Old Newbury Crafters for decades.
The condition is excellent. There are no problems. No breaks, no repairs, and no monogram removals. The weight is 141 grams or 5 ounces. The length is 11 1/4 inches.
