Fabulous c1810 Barr Flight Barr Oval Serving Dish Bowl Orange Flower Gilded 14"

Presented is a fabulous large oval serving dish from Barr, Flight, and Barr. This piece was likely produced between 1807-1813. The pattern displays a bright orange wide border with gilded flowers and leaves. At either end is a handle with decorative scalloped edging and sprigs of gilt flowers. This piece comes with a free quatrefoil square server which has been heavily repaired. The piece, however, displays a hand-done mark from Barr, Flight, and Barr that the server does not have. The mark reads: “Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester / Flight & Barr Coventry Street, London / Manufacturers to their Majesties & Royal Family”. If you do not want this free piece, please let us know and we will not send it to you. The underside of the large oval server has been marked under the glaze with a B for Barr, Flight, and Barr.

This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially considering age. There are only very minor losses to the paint and gilding and a few tiny rough spots on the base of the dish. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
