Fabulous 14k Gold Sea Anemone Flower Pin/Brooch

Presented is a fabulous 14 karat gold brooch/pin in the shape of a sea anemone. This is a relatively modern piece, likely of American make. The design is quite realistic, with many tendrils appearing to 'wave' in sea currents. The brooch has a two pronged clasp, with a rollover style safety mechanism. Although there is no loop for a pendant, a chain could be securely run behind the clasp and this piece could be worn as a pendant.

The brooch is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The brooch is stamped 14k as well as a maker's mark of PJ.

The brooch is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter.

The brooch weighs 15.6 grams.
