Fab VTG Mexico Sterling Silver Turquoise Aztec Inca Mask Wide Bracelet
Regular price
$180.00
Presented is a fabulous vintage Mexican silver and turquoise bracelet, dating to around the 1940s-1950s. The bracelet is done in the form of rectangular Aztec or Maya masks, with split tongues and turquoise-set headdresses. The quality of the silver work is excellent, and the individual mask links are very heavily cast from solid sterling silver. The bracelet closes with a very secure wide hook style clasp.
The bracelet is stamped silver and “Made in Mexico.” This bracelet is in good overall condition. The details are nice and crisp. Four of the stones are chipped, so they don't stick out much above the bezel, but there is still turquoise in the setting so it's less noticeable than if the stones were missing entirely. The clasp functions well. The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 7 3/4 inches in circumference, and is about an inch wide. The bracelet weighs 72.1 grams.-jm
