Presented is a fabulous pair of vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver and 18 karat gold earrings, in the design # 400. This design is the work of Lene Munthe, a renowned Danish jewelry artist and designer working for Georg Jensen for many years. The earrings are done in a sort of bunched ribbon or fabric form, with the folds in the material skillfully and realistically rendered, gathered in the center with a yellow gold ring. These earrings have cushioned clip backs, suitable for wear with pierced or unpierced ears.
These earrings are stamped with the Georg Jensen maker's mark as well as 925s for sterling, Denmark, and the design number, 400. This pair of earrings is in excellent condition. The clip backs have a good strong spring mechanism.
