Presented is a fabulous quality set of 12 sterling silver demitasse spoons by Dominick & Haff. These spoons are very much in the style of the Aesthetic movement and date to that time, around the 1880s. These spoons have an attractive hand hammered texture on the handles, with a matte finish surface on the bowl. The spoons are well made and quite handsome.
The spoons are in great condition. There are no bends, no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each spoon is hallmarked on the back of the stem with the maker's mark for Dominick & Haff as well as 'sterling'.
Each spoon is about 4 3/8 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 130 grams or 4.5 regular ounces.
