Presented is a fantastic set of 12 Limoges porcelain plates, dating to the second half of the 20th century. These plates are made in a beautiful floral pattern, with a bouquet of colorful flowers to one side of the center well and little sprigs of various flowers around the rim. The plates have a richly gold gilt edge and a basket weave type of texture to the porcelain around the rim. The look is similar to Meissen's Scattered Flowers pattern, though not exact with the largest floral spray being off-center. If someone out there knows the name of this pattern, please feel free to let us know. Please note, we have additional sizes of plate in this same pattern, if you are interested in purchasing more.
This set of plates is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. We are including with this set a thirteenth plate, which has a chip to the foot rim, only visible when the plate is flipped over.
These plates are signed on the underside for Raynaud & Co, Limoges, France, and a stamp of Marin Paris.
Each plate measures about 9 5/8 inches in diameter. -jm
