Presented is a fabulous set of 10 Durgin sterling silver dinner forks. These forks are made in the elegant New Vintage pattern, which began production in 1904. This is a lovely pattern featuring a cluster of grapes with grape leaves on the handles, surrounded by classical shell and scrollwork decoration. The grape motif is continued with a grape leaf decoration on the back above the tines.
Each fork has a monogram of D on the handle in Gothic script.
This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each fork is stamped with the Durgin maker's mark as well as sterling.
Each fork is about 7 1/2 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 591 grams or 20.8 regular ounces. -jm
