Presented is a superb quality German 800 silver serving piece. This piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The has a beautiful floral design in crisp, detailed relief on the handle, as well as a fabulously hand engraved floral and foliate scrollwork spray on the blade. The quality of the engraving work is exceptional, and it looks very striking against the matte finish of the blade. The handle has a monogram of E.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The server is stamped with the German crescent moon and crown with 800 for the purity of the silver, as well as the maker's mark for Peter Bruckmann & Sons.
