Presented is a lovely pair of 14 karat yellow gold and garnet convertible earrings. The earrings are made in a simple, classic stud design, with a little dangle that can be added to the stud or removed, depending on how you want to wear them-- very versatile! The studs are prong set with a round cut garnet about 6 millimeters in diameter, while the drops are set with an oval cut with five more round cut garnets underneath. The garnet stones are beautifully cut and faceted and have a very rich red color, they appear much lighter and more eye-catching in person than what the photos show. The earrings are very well made and the backs are nice and secure. The earrings have posts with butterfly backs, suitable for wear with pierced ears. The earrings are in excellent condition. The garnets are securely set and in great shape with no chips.
The earring butterfly backs and posts are stamped and guaranteed 14k. All parts of the earrings are nitric acid tested and guaranteed 14k gold.
Each earring measures about 7/8 of an inch long.
