Presented is an eye-catching diamond, sapphire and ruby ring in 14 karat yellow gold. This is a relatively modern piece, probably custom made. The ring is set with an oval ruby of about half a carat in size. In addition to the ruby, the ring is set with a smaller round sapphire and three diamonds. The diamonds are modern brilliant cut stones of 6-7 points each in size, for a total diamond weight between 18-20 points. The stones are all bezel set, in an artistic openwork setting, perhaps this is a constellation? The ring is done as two halves, connected by gold wire in a haphazard sort of spider's web design. This is a very visually interesting and appealing piece of designer jewelry, guaranteed to make an impression.
