Exquisite Sterling Silver Purple Agate Crystal Gemstone Butterfly Drop Earrings

Presented is a luminous pair of silver and purple agate and tanzanite or iolite pierced earrings, made in China.

They are stamped "925" for sterling silver.  They are also marked "China" and have a maker's mark of "EA".  The earring nuts are stamped "925" as well. 

These are modern pieces.

These earrings are beautiful!  I love the muted purple color of the dyed agate teardrop-shaped pieces at the bottom of the earrings.  The clear purple stones at the top of the earrings are real stones.  Our certified gemologist says that they are most likely either iolite or tanzanite.  It is a light shade of purple for either stone, and the setting makes it more difficult to properly test them.  Either way, the appearance of these gems are gorgeous!

There are no problems with these earrings. 

They will look great on you, especially for a formal event or special evening out!
