Presented is an excellent set of 6 contemporary Baccarat glass brandy snifter or cognac glasses. These fine crystal glasses are beautifully gilded with a very ornate initial N beneath a crown, for Napoleon. The glasses are wide bodied and have a very generous capacity of 8 fluid ounces/240 milliliters, with plenty of room left at the top, so while the shape suggests use for brandy or cognac, the glasses could honestly be used for a variety of beverages. Exceptional quality and very regal in appearance, as expected from Baccarat.
This set is in excellent condition. The gilding is in great shape. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
Each glass is signed Baccarat on the underside of the foot.
Each glass stands about 4 5/8 inches tall and measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, with a foot measurement of about 2 7/8 inches. -jm
