Presented is a charming vintage Norwegian sterling silver tea strainer, by renowned maker Th. Marthinsen. The strainer is made in an elegant design, with a lobed floriform shape to the bowl of the strainer and classical shell and scroll decoration for the terminal of the handle and the edge of the bowl opposite. The piece is very well made, and has a nice feeling of weight and quality in the hand. I believe this piece is made in the pattern named Martha, or at the very least it would match excellently in design.
The reverse is stamped with the maker's mark TH. Marthinsen, sterling, and Norway.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
