Presented is a wonderful quality antique or vintage cut glass/crystal bowl. This bowl is not signed but the style and the quality of the work suggest a well respected Irish maker like Waterford or Galway. The lower portion of the body is done in a classically cut and faceted design, with a horizontal channel around the midpoint and a paneled design to the upper portion. The bowl is a good useable size, whether as a centerpiece bowl, fruit bowl, or however else you like.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is a little flake at the rim, at the vertical line between two arches, which is quite small and hard to notice without looking for it specifically. Some minor shelf wear to the underside, but nothing remarkable. No serious chips, no cracks, no repairs, no sickness or clouding to the glass.
The dish measures about 8 inches in diameter and stands about 3 3/4 inches tall at the rim. -jm
