Elegant Victorian Style 14k Yellow Gold Coral Filigree Drop Pierced Earrings

Presented is a beautiful pair of 14 karat yellow gold and coral earrings. Each earring is set with a round cabochon of red-orange coral, beneath a smaller coral bead, all surrounded by elegant gold filigree openwork. These are relatively contemporary earrings, but they are made in a much older Victorian inspired style. The earrings have posts with butterfly backs, for wear with pierced ears. The first photograph is true to the color of the coral in fairly typical indoor lighting, while the second photo, showing the earrings outdoors in the sun, shows the color as a little more orange.

This pair of earrings is in excellent condition. The coral is intact and well set. There are no breaks, and no repairs.

The earrings are stamped 14k on the butterfly backs. All parts are 14 karat gold, nitric acid tested and guaranteed.

Each earring measures about 1 1/4 inches long.

The total weight for the pair is 7.8 grams. -jm
