Elegant Pair 14k Gold Vintage Mother of Pearl & Diamond Screwback Earrings

Presented is a nice pair of mother-of-pearl and diamond earrings, in 14 karat
gold. These earrings date to around the 1930s, though the backs are a later
addition, from around the 1950s. The earrings are done in a slightly concave
oval shape of gorgeously iridescent mother-of-pearl, with a diamond bezel set in
the center. The diamonds are nice quality stones, of VS clarity and H color,
about 6 points each. Though the majority of each earring's metal is yellow 14
karat gold, the diamonds are set in white metal, probably platinum. The earrings
have attached screw-style backs, suitable for pierced or unpierced ears and
easily adjusted for comfort and security.
The earrings are in great condition. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The earrings are stamped and guaranteed 14 karat gold.
Each earring is approximately 3/4 of an inch long.
The total weight for the earrings is 4.4 grams.
