Presented is a lovely pair of 14 karat yellow gold and pearl earrings. These earrings date to around the 1970s and are likely of American make. Each earring is set with three beautiful pearls. These are real pearls, drilled through and securely mounted with gold. The pearl on either side of each earring is stationary while the bottom pearl is a dangle. The pearls are all in the 7.6 to 8.1 millimeter size range. These are clipback earrings suitable for wear with pierced as well as nonpierced ears.
The earrings are in great condition. The pearls are securely mounted. The surfaces of the pearls are in good shape. The clipbacks have a good strong spring mechanism. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The earrings are stamped and guaranteed 14k.
Each earring is about 1 1/4 inches long.
The total weight for the pair is 12 grams.
