Presented are a great pair of diamond earrings in a 14K white gold setting. A large and smaller diamond are set in an elegant tear-drop setting. The smaller diamond is securely bead-set with four sturdy beads. The lower half of the
larger diamond is channel into the setting and the upper half is bead-set with two beads. The wide rim of the setting is grooved. The diamonds are older than the earrings, and probably originally came from a large necklace that was
broken up and used in these earrings. One of the larger diamonds is a modern brilliant round cut, and the other is an old mine cut stone. The mine cut diamond is at least 40 points in size, and the other large, brilliant round cut
diamond is about 40 points in size. The smaller stones are 5 to 6 points. All the stones are eye clean, with a lot of life and sparkle to them. With a 10x loop, the clarity on the large diamonds is SI2 and I1, and the smaller stones are SI. All the stones are H color. The earrings are stamped 14K for 14K gold. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it is 14K gold. The earrings are in excellent condition. The stones are in excellent shape. There are no cracks, no chips and no breaks to the stones. They're in great condition for such old stones! The setting is also in excellent condition. The
beads are very secure. There are no breaks, no cracks, no dents and no repairs to the setting. The earrings measure about 1/2 an inch long and 5/16 of an inch wide.
