Elegant 14k Gold Sapphire Moonstone Leaf Pin Brooch

Presented is a lovely 14 karat gold, sapphire and moonstone pin/brooch. This is an American piece, dating to around the 1950s-1970s. The brooch is done in a leaf or feather design, set with five oval cabochon moonstones and seven round faceted sapphires. The moonstones are beautiful, high quality stones, displaying attractive adularescence, the luminescent quality for which moonstones are prized. The brooch has a rollover style safety clasp.

The pin is not stamped. We have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.

The pin is in great condition. The sapphires and moonstones are securely set. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The pin is about 2 1/2 inches long.

The pin weighs 6.9 grams.
