Egyptian Gilt-Silver Multi-Strand Bracelet; Scarab, Ankh, Palmette, Filigree
Presented is a very interesting Egyptian multi-stranded bracelet.
The center of the bracelet features a scarab bead, likely made of pottery. There are palmettes above and below the scarab. It is is flanked on either side by an Ankh. (Please see our photos below.)
The beaded strands of the bracelet alternate between turquoise-colored faience pottery beads and rich orange-red coral beads.
The filigree clasp works well and holds securely.
This piece is Egyptian and dates to pre-WW2, about 1910's-1940's.
The center gilt section of the bracelet and the clasp are guaranteed to be a minimum of 900 purity silver. The beaded strands are likely linked with copper wire.
This piece is in good condition - ready to wear.
