Presented is a handsome sterling silver fish set by Dominick & Haff. The fish set is done in the Louis XIV Old Style pattern which was first produced in 1888. Each piece is monogrammed EEC on the end of the handle. This set is large and extremely heavy. The designs are very crisp. I love how the tines on look, the way they curve. Of course, the pieces can always be used individually to serve whatever you like.
The fish set is hallmarked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Dominick & Haff, Sterling, and Bigelow Kennard & Co for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. There is some surface wear commensurate with age and light use and a few little dings here and there, but this is minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The fish servers are 9 inches and 10 3/4 inches long.
