Presented is an antique, sterling silver salad serving fork and spoon set made by Dominick & Haff. This set is in the Labors of Cupid pattern, which was patented in 1900. The openwork handles are cast with detailed putti or cherubs surrounded by strawberries and leaves. The tines of the fork and the bowl of the spoon are decorated with detailed berries and leaves. This is a very heavy weight and large serving set. We believe that this set was made by Reed and Barton, who purchased Dominick and Haff and all their patterns and dies, in the past 30 years.
The backs are marked for Dominick & Haff and sterling silver purity.
This set is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.
