Presented is a fanciful, 14 karat yellow gold animal pin made by Diana Kim England Goldsmiths of Nantucket. This is a fairly modern piece. The animal appears to be a leopard type of cat and it is done in a stylized, almost Egyptian sort of style. The body is textured with swirls and raised beads. There are 5 sapphires set into the middle of the body and one sapphire bezel set into the face for an eye. This is a wonderful, completely hand crafted pin or brooch.
The back is marked Diana Kim England and 14K.
This piece is in virtually mint condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no missing pieces, no splits and no repairs.
The pin measures 2 3/4 inches wide and weighs 10 grams.
