Presented is a stunning designer 18 karat yellow gold, enamel and sterling silver bangle bracelet, signed La Nouvelle Bague. The bangle is covered in rich deep red enamel, with lighter red and rust orange mottling and a subtle metallic sparkle within, giving an overall effect reminiscent of red mahogany wood or the like. Set in the bangle is a little panel of naturalistic nugget texture gold, a raised “X” design, and a little band with decorative dangles giving a charming element of movement. The hinge, clasp, joints, and decorative elements are all done in 18 karat yellow gold. The deep yellow of the gold complements the deep colorful enamel beautifully.

This piece is stamped on the end of the clasp with the mark for La Nouvelle Bague as well as 750 for 18 karat gold, 18k, and an Italian government registered maker's mark. The other part of the clasp, on the exterior side, has a raised applied tag reading La Nouvelle Bague. On the interior of the band of the bracelet on one side the marks 18k, 750, and the Italian mark are repeated, while on the other side is an oval spot marked 925 for sterling silver. The clasp, dangles, hinges and visible decoration are 18 karat yellow gold, nitric acid tested and guaranteed. The metal under the red enamel is sterling silver.

This piece is in excellent condition. The clasp mechanism is functioning well and closes securely. The enamel is in great shape, with no chips or losses.

The interior circumference of the bracelet is about 7 inches.

This bracelet weighs 46.3 grams or 1.6 regular ounces. -jm
