Presented is a great quality, sterling silver fish slice made by Hamilton & Diesinger of Pennslyvania. This piece is heavy weight, and decorated with beautiful, large flourishes at the tip of the handle above a lovely monogram of the letter S and swirling embellishments along the edges. The bowl has a matte finish, gold wash and a heavily decorated rim.
The slice is marked on the reverse side with the old Hamilton & Diesinger keystone hallmark and the word sterling.
The overall condition of this piece is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, no monogram removals, no repairs and no other problems of any kind.
The slice measures 11 5/8 inches long and weighs 110 grams or 3.5 troy ounces.
