Dazzling Antique 14k Yellow Gold, Silver & Diamond Ring
Presented is a stunning 14 karat gold, silver and diamond ring. This ring dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s, and is likely of American make. The ring is set with thirty three diamonds. The center stone is a modern brilliant cut diamond of about 50 to 55 points in size. This is a dazzling, high quality stone of VVS clarity and H color, based on what we can see of the stone as the girdle is obscured by the setting. On either side of the center stone is a bezel or collet set diamond of about 10 points each in size. These diamonds are VS clarity and nice high white color. Surrounding that are 30 more diamonds, averaging about 1.5 points each in size, totaling about 45 points. These diamonds are all at least SI clarity and good white color. The total diamond weight is about 1.15 to 1.25 carats. The gold setting is quite attractive and ornate, with filigree openwork around the sides and a silver top so the diamonds really shine.
The ring is in great condition. The diamonds are securely set, with no chips. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The ring is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold and silver.
The ring is a size 6 1/4.
The ring weighs 4.1 grams.
