Presented is a fabulous 14 karat gold and diamond heart necklace. This is a relatively modern piece, likely made in America in the past 30 years or so. The pendant is done in the shape of a heart, with a yellow gold ropetwist edge around matte finish white gold. The heart is set with 18 diamonds in bright star shaped settings, very dazzling and sparkling against the white gold. The chain is a simple, classy round link chain with a springring clasp.
The necklace is in great condition. The chain has no breaks and no kinks. The clasp functions well and closes securely. The diamonds are well set and all intact. There are no breaks and no repairs. Both the pendant and the chain are stamped and guaranteed 14 karat gold. The pendant also has a maker's mark of CDL.
The chain is about 15 inches long. The pendant is about 1 1/4 inches long, including the loop/bail at the top.
