Presented is a fine quality piece of English ironstone china made by Davenport between 1805 and 1820. This is a very colorful piece in the flying bird pattern. It is a covered entree dish with an underplate or platter that can be used as two separate pieces and do not have to be used together.
The underplate measures 12 1/4 by 9 1/2 by 1 3/8 inches. The serving bowl measures 10 7/8 by 8 1/8 by 2 1/8 inches, with a height of 5 3/4 inches to the top of the handle.
