Presented is a beautiful pair of 14 karat yellow gold and sapphire stud earrings. Each earring is prong set with a round cut sapphire of about 20 points in size, for a total sapphire weight of about 40 points. The sapphires are well matched in their rich blue color and well cut so they catch the light attractively. The sapphires are securely set in four prong settings which are quite secure.
The earrings are in great condition. The sapphires are securely set, with no chips. The earring backs are stamped and guaranteed 14k. We have tested the earrings themselves with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 14 karat gold. Each earring is about 3.9 millimeters in diameter. The total weight for the pair is 1 gram.
