Classy VTG Mexican Brass and Blue Glass Mosaic Inlay Pitcher
Regular price
$204.00
Presented is a handsome vintage brass and blue glass pitcher, of Mexican make, dating to around the 1950s. The pitcher is bright brass with squares of blue glass, looking almost like lapis lazuli, set in the handle, around the base, and in the finial of the lid. The body of the pitcher is made in an appealing style, with sleek modern lines and a handle that is left open at one end, reminiscent of pitchers by renowned Mexican maker Los Castillo.
This piece is in great overall condition. The piece could be cleaned/polished up a bit more, but we have opted to leave it as we found it.
The pitcher is marked 'handwrought' as well as Hecho en Mexico, 'Made in Mexico.'
The pitcher stands about 8 1/4 inches tall and has a capacity of about 4 cups, or 32 fluid ounces/0.95 liters. -jm
