Presented is a classic Tiffany & Co sterling silver bowl, dating to circa 1947-1956. The bowl is made in a simple Revere form, with a low round foot and gently flared rim. The bowl is a nice weight for its size, well made from thick, heavy gauge sterling silver, as you'd expect from the Tiffany name.
This piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co maker's mark, sterling, and the initial 'm' for the director of the company between 1947-1956, Louis deBebian Moore.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are some minor of surface abrasions particularly to the inside, which could easily be polished out. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece measures about 5 3/4 inches in diameter and stands about 2 3/8 inches tall at the rim.
The bowl weighs 223 grams or 7.9 regular ounces. -jm
