Presented is a charming American Victorian 14 karat gold bar pin. This piece is done very much in the style of the Etruscan Revival period to which it dates, with fine applied gold beadwork and wirework. The center of the pin has a flower design encircled by a ring of caliber cut turquoise colored glass. On either end of the pin are three little seed pearls.

This piece is in great overall condition. The clasp and pin shaft have been replaced. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold, except for the replacement pin shaft/clasp which is not gold.
The pin is about 2 1/8 inches long.
The pin weighs 6.4 grams.
