Presented is a very pretty, 18 karat gold and pearl pin. This Victorian piece was made in Europe during the 1850s-1880s. The pin is in a flower form and there are beaded accents along the middle gold portion. Each pearl is securely riveted to the gold body of the pin, you can see the old construction in the last photograph below.
This piece has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed to be 18 karat purity. There is a single hallmark on the C shaped clasp, although only part of the hallmark is visible.
This pin is excellent overall condition. There is slight surface wear but this is only noticeable upon close inspection of the piece. There are no missing pearls, no dents, no breaks and no repairs.
The pin measures 1 inch in diameter and weighs 2.9 grams.
