Presented is a charming pair of 14 karat yellow gold and lapis lazuli earrings.
These are vintage American earrings dating to around the 1960s-1970s. The
earrings are each set with three oval cabochons of rich blue lapis lazuli, with
the gold flecks of pyrite inclusions visible in the stone. The earrings have
clip-on backs suitable for wear with nonpierced or pierced ears. The gold
setting is heavy and high quality.
The earrings are in great condition. The earrings have a good strong spring
mechanism in the clipbacks. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The earrings are stamped 14k as well as a patent number 156452.
The earrings are about 7/8 of an inch long.
The earrings weigh 17.3 grams.
