Charming late 1800s/early 1900s 14k Gold Natural Seed Pearl Wreath Stickpin
Presented is a fantastic 14 karat gold and seed pearl stickpin. This piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s, and is likely American. The head of the pin is done in a wreath design, with small seed pearls set in the leaves and larger seed pearls in between the leaves, as berries. Given the time period, these are natural seed pearls.
The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
The pin is in great condition. The pearls are all intact. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is about 2 inches long.
The pin weighs 1.9 grams total, including the stopper bead. The weight for just the pin, without the stopper bead, is 1.6 grams.
