Presented is a pretty 18 karat gold butterfly pin or brooch. This is a modern piece, made in America. The pin is done in a stylized butterfly form, with intricate texturing and detailing for the surface of the wings. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp.
This piece is in great condition. The details of the gold texturing are nice and crisp. The clasp functions well and closes securely. The pin is stamped on the back with a maker's mark of R with a palm tree, as well as 18k. The pin measures about 1 3/8 by 1 1/8 inches.This piece weighs 6.6 grams.
