Charming c1920s Antique Blue White Willow 11pc Miniature Tea Set Made in Japan

Presented is a charming vintage miniature blue and white 11 piece tea set, in its original fitted storage case. This set was made in Japan and dates to around the 1910s-1930s. The pieces are made in a classical Chinese Canton style, featuring a very detailed scenic depiction of the story of two star-crossed lovers transformed into swallows, sometimes called the 'Blue Willow' pattern. Really a delightful little collectible.
The set consists of:
Teapot-- 3 1/2 inches tall.
Creamer-- 1 5/8 inches tall.
Sugar bowl-- 2 1/4 inches tall.
4 cups-- 1 1/8 inches tall.
4 saucers-- 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
All of the pieces are marked 'Made in Japan' on the underside except two of the saucers, though there is no doubt they are original to the set.
This set is in excellent condition. None of the pieces have any chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. The storage box has some signs of age and some tape reinforcement at the corners, but has done a great job of storing and protecting the set.
The storage box measures about 10 by 7 by 2 5/8 inches, LxWxH. -jm
