Presented is a charming antique Austrian bronze figurine of a borzoi or similar long legged sighthound dog. The bronze is well cast and nicely detailed with fine fur texturing for the dog's long tail, neck-ruff and leg-feathering. The patina is a lovely warm brown. An excellent gift for any fan of the borzoi/Russian Wolfhound, or dogs in general.
This piece is in excellent condition. The patina is in good shape. There are no breaks, and no repairs.
The bronze is stamped 'Made in Austria.'
This figurine measures about 6 inches from nose to tail and stands about 3 3/4 inches tall. -jm
