Charming Amethyst Pearl 14k Gold Bee Beetle Pin/Brooch

Presented is a charming amethyst and pearl brooch in the shape of a bee or beetle. The pin is set with a lovely oval cut amethyst of about 12.30 carats in size. The head of the bug is a pearl of about 6.5 millimeters. The body of the bug is made from 14 karat gold and is nicely detailed, with textured and veined wings and the right number of legs. The pin has a butterfly style safety clasp.

This piece is in great overall condition. The bug is missing the tip of one of its hind legs. This is hard to notice, as it's on the underside of the pin. Otherwise there are no breaks and no problems.

The brooch is stamped and guaranteed 14k.

The brooch is approximately 1 1/8 x 1 inch in size.

This piece weighs 7.4 grams.
