Charming 14k Yellow Gold Diamond Ruby Emerald Lion Pin Brooch

Presented is a charming 14 karat yellow and white gold gemstone pin or brooch. This piece dates to around the 1960s-1970s and is likely of American make. The pin is made in the form of a charmingly stylized lion, with a tousled mop of mane. The lion's eyes are two round emeralds, with four diamonds set in white gold in the muzzle and a round cut ruby for the nose. The piece is exceptionally detailed throughout its surface, down to the lion's whiskers and fur texture. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp, which is quite secure.
