Presented is a charming 14 karat gold pin, in the form of a leaf with a ladybug on it. This is a fairly modern piece, made in America. The leaf is done in a realistic style, with detailed veining and texturing. The lady bug is done in red, white and black enamel, shown with its wings spread. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp. There is also a good size loop on the back, so the pin can be worn on a cord or chain as a pendant.
The pin is in great condition. The textured finish of the leaf's front is in great shape. The enamel on the ladybug is all intact. The clasp functions well and closes securely.
The pin is stamped on the back with 14k, inside an acorn shaped mark.
The pin measures about 1 5/8 inches from the tip of the leaf to the stem.
This piece weighs 9.1 grams.
