Presented is an impressive Tiffany & Co sterling silver centerpiece or fruit bowl, dating to around the 1920s. The bowl is made in the classic Hampton pattern, with a Chippendale shape to the rim and beveled decoration around the edge. The rim is not the deeply overhanging style as seen on many similar Tiffany centerpiece bowls, but more of a shallow slope. The interior has a little bit of a lip, so it looks like it could be used with a flower frog. The center of the bowl is monogrammed EAM in interwoven script.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co maker's mark, sterling, and the initial 'm' for the director of the company between 1907-1947, John C. Moore II.
This bowl measures about 12 inches in diameter and about 2 1/2 inches tall at the rim.
