Presented is an elegant 14k yellow gold and sapphire stickpin. This pin dates to around the 1910s-1920s and was made by Bipart, Griscom & Osborn, renowned jewelers working out of Newark, New Jersey. The head of the stick pin is done in a shield shaped form with sleek fluting around the sides, marrying Art Deco and Art Nouveau design. The center of the pin is set with a real round cut sapphire in a lovely shade of blue. The gold has an appealing textured finish, adding to its stylish antique charm.
The pin is in great condition. No breaks and no repairs.
The pin is stamped and guaranteed 14k, as well as the maker's mark for Bipart, Griscom & Osborn.
