Presented is a beautiful 14 karat gold, platinum and diamond bar pin. This is an American piece, dating to around the 1910s. The pin is done in a lovely filigree openwork design, set with a diamond in the center, in a hexagonal setting. The pin is 14 karat yellow gold, with a platinum top, so the diamond really pops. The diamond is about 20 points in size, a vibrant, sparkling stone of VS-1 clarity and F/G color. The pin is beautifully hand engraved, with a feather or foliate design at either end and milgrain finish around the diamond's setting. The pin has an old lever catch style safety clasp.
This piece is in great condition. The diamond is securely set. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
