c1900 Handsome Antique German 800 Silver Spoon w Figural Handle

Presented is a handsome antique German silver spoon. This is a Hanau German
piece, dating to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The handle of the spoon is made
in a lovely twist form, featuring figural design of cherubs and other
mythological type figures. The bowl of the spoon has a rat tail design to the
back. The back of the bowl is monogrammed GKS.

This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no
breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed 800-850 purity
silver. There are Hanau German pseudo-hallmarks on the back of the bowl.

The spoon is about 7 3/8 inches long.

This piece weighs 61 grams or 2.2 regular ounces.
