c1900 9k Gold Back and Front Blue Paste Seed Pearl Flower Locket Pendant

Presented is a charming 9 karat gold, silver, seed pearl and blue paste stone
locket. The dates to circa 1900 and is likely of English make, possibly there
are English hallmarks under the paper backing inside but we didn't remove it to
check. The locket is oval, set on the front side with a five little round blue
paste stones, very vibrant, in the form of a flower, with a sprig of leaves and
stem made up of seed pearls. The interior has no glass and the bezels don't seem
to be removable, so photos would just be tucked in under the lip or fixed in
with adhesive.
The locket is in excellent condition. The pearls and paste stones are well
set and all intact. The locket opens and snaps shut nicely with an audible
click.
The pendant is stamped on the back with “9ct backs and fronts, silver
settings.” We believe this indicates construction of 9 carat gold over silver
frames. The loop/bail at the top is also marked 9ct.
The pendant measures about 1 1/4 inches long including the bail by ¾ of an
inch wide.
The pendant weighs 4 grams.
