Presented is an antique, sterling silver asparagus or serving fork made by Jacobi & Jenkins of Baltimore during the late 1800s or early 1900s. This piece is in a Repousse pattern, which was popular throughout the 19th century. The front of the handle is hand chased with detailed flowers, scrolls and leaves. The back of the handle has an old, original monogram of the initials VDP.
This piece is marked Jacobi & Jenkins and 925/1000 for sterling silver purity.
This piece is in very good overall condition, especially considering age. The designs are crisp and there are no damages or repairs.
