Presented is an elegant Royal Vienna gilt porcelain plate with a fantastic cobalt blue border and hand-painted picture. The gilding is done with a stunning gold beaded border with delicate spade-form leaves against the cobalt border. The center depicts a lovely young lady smelling a flower.
The piece is signed at 6 o'clock, perhaps L. Tackl? This very fine quality piece was made in the late 1800s. The piece is marked on the underside with the Royal Vienna beehive mark.
The condition is virtually flawless. The cobalt border and gilding are in fantastic condition. The porcelain is also in great shape. The only possible issues are a couple scratches to the paint at the 4-5 o'clock position. We have shown these in the photos. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no repairs.
